Teaching the Next Generation the Value of Service

HNR Restorations is proud to partner with the Bob Feller Act of Valor Foundation on the Youth Helping Veterans at Home Initiative — a program that brings together local young volunteers and skilled tradespeople to provide needed home improvements to veterans and military families, completely free of charge. We supply all the materials and handle the more complex skilled labor, so that every project is done right, safely, and with the quality these families deserve.

But this program is about more than fixing homes. It's about putting young people side by side with veterans, letting them see firsthand what service and sacrifice look like, and showing them that their own hands and effort can make a real difference in someone's life. With the generous support of Home Depot, we're able to bring these projects to life across Long Island, one home at a time.

For us, it's personal. We work in people's homes every day after something has gone wrong, a fire, a flood, a storm. We know how much a safe, well-maintained home means to a family. The least we can do is make sure the men and women who served this country have exactly that.
